Hiboy S2 vs S2 Pro vs S2 MAX Tire Sizes | Scooter Repair Shop

What tire size fits a Hiboy S2, S2 Pro or S2 MAX? These names describe different scooters and different original tire systems. Hiboy lists 8.5-inch honeycomb tires for the standard S2, 10-inch honeycomb tires for the S2 Pro, and 10-inch tires for the S2 MAX. Hiboy also documents an S2 MAX change from older pneumatic tires to self-healing tubeless tires. Confirm the exact model and build before choosing an outer tire, inner tube, valve or solid conversion.

Hiboy S2-family original tire comparison

Scooter model Manufacturer-documented original tires What still needs checking
Hiboy S2 8.5-inch honeycomb tires, front and rear. Full tire width/sidewall code, rim seat and the scooter's specific build.
Hiboy S2 Pro 10-inch honeycomb tires, front and rear. Full tire width/sidewall code, rim seat and wheel position for the replacement.
Hiboy S2 MAX Hiboy says earlier S2 MAX units used pneumatic tires and upgraded units use 10-inch self-healing tubeless tires. Manufacture/version details, original tire construction, complete marking, valve and rim. Do not treat an older S2 MAX as identical to the updated one.

What has our workshop actually recorded?

Privacy-minimized completed service records link a specific Scooter Repair Shop tire SKU to one unit of each model. They document individual repairs, not manufacturer approval or compatibility with every production revision. Duplicate ticket lines are not counted as separate installations.

Model as recorded on ticket Dated service evidence Fitment limit
S2 February 13, 2026: completed tire replacement with solid 8.5x2 SKU SR-00030 recorded on the same device. Original complete marking, wheel position and build were not documented. Confirm the actual wheel before ordering.
S2 Pro February 21, 2026: completed tire replacement with solid 10x2.5 SKU SR-00011 recorded on the same device. One case does not establish fit for all S2 Pro wheels. Confirm the original marking and rim.
S2 MAX April 2, 2025: completed tire replacement with solid 10x2.5 SKU SR-00011 recorded on the same device. This historical case predates Hiboy's documented tubeless upgrade. It does not establish fit for current S2 MAX units or all earlier versions.

Can you use the same replacement tire on all three?

No. The standard S2's nominal 8.5-inch tire differs from the 10-inch S2 Pro and S2 MAX families. Even the latter two have different documented original constructions and may have different wheel interfaces or production versions. A 10-inch label alone does not establish width, bead fit, valve clearance or safe conversion to a solid tire.

Before selecting a replacement

  1. Read the model plate: S2, S2 Pro and S2 MAX are separate models.
  2. Photograph the full original sidewall marking and identify the front or rear wheel.
  3. Check whether the original tire is honeycomb solid, tube-type pneumatic or tubeless; for S2 MAX, identify the unit's actual version.
  4. Match the candidate SKU to the wheel's rim and clearance, or ask a technician to inspect it before installation.

Frequently asked questions

What size are the original Hiboy S2 tires?

Hiboy lists 8.5-inch honeycomb tires front and rear for the standard S2. That nominal diameter does not supply the full replacement code.

What size are the original Hiboy S2 Pro tires?

Hiboy lists 10-inch honeycomb tires front and rear. Read the complete marking and compare the wheel before ordering a particular 10-inch tire.

Does the Hiboy S2 MAX use a tube?

It depends on the unit's production version. Hiboy documents an upgrade from older pneumatic tires to self-healing tubeless tires. Inspect the actual wheel and valve; do not order a tube or tubeless tire by model name alone.

Are SR-00030 and SR-00011 guaranteed to fit?

No universal guarantee is established. The workshop records above show completed individual services, while complete original markings and wheel build details remain unavailable. Check current product availability and request an exact fitment review before purchase.
